Collezioni Bambini / No 33 / Paola Capodacqua
Boys’ Stuff. Lion and Finn is the new clothing label
for boys from 2 to 8 years. The collection, designed and producted
in Belgium, features an up-to-date style combined with the
latest fashion trends and adequate practicality. Martina Becker,
the collection’s creator and stylist, began her activity
on realising that she couldn’t find clothing really
suitable for Lion and Finn, her two children. In 2002 she
launched her first collection and this year has decided to
debut at Kid’s Fashion in Brussels with total wear rich
in sport and streetwear ideas. (Autumn Winter 2003-04)

Pyjamas shapes, cotton from home collection, strips nightwear,
solutions taken from the sportswear. The day and night change
their roles in this collection that talks about urban poesy,
the craving of simplicity and of healthy North European understatement.
No fear therefore, if the striped coat of the pyjama ends
up on top of a pair of a military green cargo, if the laces
of the night shirt are the same of a top dressed to go out,
if the sports coulisse closes on the bottom of the large trousers
just like a pair of sweats. All together, a common denominator:
